This Privacy Policy explains what information WorkHive HQ collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to this policy.
Account & workspace data — name, work email, role, department, and the workplace records you create (tasks, tickets, HR/finance entries, documents). Usage data — presence, attendance, and activity within your workspace. Payment data — handled by Paddle, our Merchant of Record; we receive transaction and subscription metadata (plan, status, amount) but not full card details.
To provide and operate the Service, authenticate you, process subscriptions, send transactional emails (verification codes, billing notices), maintain security and audit trails, and improve the product.
We share data with processors that help us run the Service: Paddle (payments & billing), Supabase (database & authentication), LiveKit(real-time audio/video), Resend (transactional email), and Amazon Web Services (hosting). Each processes data only as needed to provide their service.
Sensitive documents and private messages are protected with client-side, end-to-end encryption (AES-256-GCM with keys that never reach our servers in readable form). Data is encrypted in transit, and sensitive actions are recorded in an audit trail.
We use browser storage to keep you signed in and remember lightweight preferences. We do not sell your personal data.
We retain your data while your subscription is active. If a subscription lapses, data is retained for a limited window (currently 10 days) so you can renew and restore access, after which it becomes eligible for deletion.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us. Depending on your location, additional rights may apply.
Our providers may process data in regions including Asia-Pacific and the United States. We rely on those providers' safeguards for such transfers.
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16.
